I’m so excited to share this party with you today, because it has lots of things that I love!

We’re also huge fans of the neon trend here at Confetti Fair. It’s retro, urban and edgy.  So suitable for a creative and artist hosting her 30th birthday. Marie, the birthday girl, is a fashion designer singer and songwriter.

Marie’s bash was held at Beta Bar in Sydney, a perfect venue with its bare brick wall, a canvas waiting to be dressed for a party.

Lashings of pink and purple balloons and florals popped out from the mesh backdrop, illuminated by the bright pink signage. The dessert table styling and set up was done by Rock Paper Sugar Events. Personalisation appeared everywhere at this celebration. The neon sign was designed to look like Marie’s label’s logo (Miss Marie the Label). The invitations and welcome sign were custom illustrations featuring the dress she wore on the night, as well as her cake. I also was very impressed to find out that the illustrations were painted by Marie herself!

Marble and geometrics made an appearance, too. Overall, I will have to say this was beautifully executed look for a party featuring so many trends.

The invitation and envelope liner were also adorned with the same design and created by Rock Paper Sugar Events. I love how coordinated everything was. Even these fondant cookies featured Marie’s logotype and the signature floral motif of the party!

The dessert set up, with the fabulous florals, balloons, mesh, brick wall and sweets was totally electrified and illuminated by the neon signage. The magnificent balloon installation was by Born to Party Shop. The stunning ring, a gift from Marie’s partner, was from Heidi Gibson Designs.

 

Here is a close up of the neon signage, cake topper and desserts. The amazing cake is by andybowdypastry.com (check this cake artist out now if you haven’t done so yet). Yes, they are mini bundt cakes on the side (love)! All of the desserts were made by Kai’s Kitchen, with the exception of the piped cookies, which were made by Piped Dream Cookies. The cake topper was made by Glistening Occasions.

 

The treats included the mini bundts (which were infused with rosewater, yum), mini cakes, profiteroles, fairy floss topped donuts and cookies. Plus, check out the detail on those piped cookies! Hearts were another motif that featured in the party.

 

There was a pink Moet bottle as well (some for me too, please!). The floral styling by BlossomLove Floral Styling complemented the entire look brilliantly (speaking of brilliant, those colours are intense).

The party also had it’s own custom Snapchat filter, illustrated and designed by Marie of course – so cool!

 

Marie designed her own insanely fab dress for the night, which was then made by Daniel Learmont

The entire party space was was bathed in pink, which really set the ambiance for the night. The pink bottles of Moet, cookies, and florals were also placed on the tables.

An amazing effort, carefully curated and put together with love by the birthday girl. Talk about party envy. We hope you had a great 30th birthday, Miss Marie!
