Have you ever come across an artist whose work you love so much that you wish you could celebrate their style in glorious fashion at your next party?

Laura Blythman is one artist who comes to the top of my mind. Her use of colour, texture, patterns and style have me smile from ear to ear and make me want to throw a party just so I can use her work. So there were little screams of excitement when I saw that she has collaborated with We Love Sundays to bring out out a range of partyware. Be still my beating heart, I must celebrate!

Another artist’s work who deserves to be replicated on to party goodies is Joanna Posey who paints abstractly with oil. Her paintings are combinations of paintings and drawing using really thick paint, layer upon layer, combining unique colors, textures, and pattern.

Why not give it a go yourself? I bought some cushions from Typo for a Mother’s Day high tea and loved the pattern so much I made cookies and drew the patterns on to the fondant. Super easy to do and the end result looked great when the setup was done.
