What were some of the best party ideas and looks in 2018? I can’t say for sure, but I saw a lot of creativity and distinctive parties, so I decided to put together a little round-up of our favourites. Some we had already featured, and we also chatted to some of our fave party people to get a few more opinions. This is by no means a definitive list, just a small snippet of some of the awesome things we liked in 2018!

I just had to include this pretty party. It perfectly illustrates how rose gold is alive and kicking, and so suitable for any event. This colour palette just continues to thrive! It’s so glam! It also featured a gorgeous organic balloon garland and a grazing table.

A cute and minimal Moana party

We love all kinds of character parties, but we especially love character parties infused with a unique flair. This Moana party is definitely one of those! The party was styled by two Adelaide mamas who run the Instagram page Ishe & Co. You can read more on this Moana party here.

Navy and Burgundy wedding by Stylish Soirées Perth

When it comes to balloons of epic proportions, Ali from Stylish Soirées Perth has been wowing us all year with her installations which kept getting bigger! Nothing was more sky-high than this elegant creation for a wedding at Mandoon Estate. The burgundy and navy colour scheme was another trend that seemed to emerge as well.

Notable mention goes to this breathtaking balloon installation for a 30th birthday, also created by Stylish Soirées Perth. Loving that purple with rose gold – genius!

Disco Diva Bridal Shower Lovely Occasions x Little White Couture

So many fun elements that hark back to one of the coolest eras ever (well, depending on who you ask)! Disco balls, sequins and roller skates – what more does a girl want at her bridal shower?

Urban Jungle Party by Confetti Fair

This one was nominated by our own Esther (not biased at all lol). It’s a party we styled, and some of our favourite elements included the fun photo booth and props from Mr and Mrs WTF.
