Desiree (Des) Preston is the Owner and Creator at Des Bakes & Decorates. Beginning in November 2020 after finally deciding it was “now or never” – having become a stay-at-home-Mum to 2 beautiful girls, and it was time to get back to work after 3.5 years.
Des has always had a passion for creating cakes and treats for family and friends since she was a teenager. Her other love is in event planning and styling from experience she gained over 15 years in the events industry, organising small to large scale local and international events – including her own wedding, and yes, she even made her own wedding cake!
With the perfect combination of skills, experience, and her love for helping others celebrate their loved ones, she has planned, styled, and created uniquely designed baked goods for several parties over the last year. Helping create memories to last a lifetime.
