Why should kids get all the best parties? Us grown-ups need some fun and colour too sometimes! In today’s post, stylist Julie of Candy Couture takes us through this luxe white and Gold Luxe 50th birthday.
My client came to me and her brief was that she wanted a dessert bar that was full of delicious desserts and had a luxurious and sophisticated look.
She also wanted a venue that had a sophisticated and luxe feel to it. The Birthday girl has always loved chic and glamour things.
She was very easy to work with, her only request being for a white and luxurious party! Everything not only looked amazing but tasted divine!
The venue was Mon Bijou in Melbourne with about 80 guests.
The party was amazing and the guests and hostess were thrilled with all aspects of the party that I had organised. It was a full event styling from finding a venue, accommodation at the Adelphi hotel which is adjacent, DJ (including the playlist for her based on her choice of genres), invitations, flowers, dessert bar, photographer, photo wall and even her outfit!
Guests walked down the lane toward the venue. I had organised lanterns and candles all the way down. Once they arrived at the entrance they were greeted by staff, a beautiful welcome sign and a glass of bubbles.
They were then taken to a VIP photo wall and every guest had their picture taken with the birthday girl. There were cocktails, more champagne and speeches.
The guests and hostess were blown away by the all the details of the event and it was a massive party that was enjoyed by all.
