Christian Lacroix luxe birthday party

Grace Dagher of GD Events recently styled this elegant grown-up birthday party, focusing on luxury detailing. The the colour scheme of the party was black, grey, white, blue and red with transparent elements, and the theme was a Christian Lacroix luxe birthday party.

The Waterfront venue with its Georges River backdrop provided a great setting for the party. “It was a perfect day to be near the water”, says Grace.

The highlight of this soiree was the luxurious Christian Lacroix Butterfly Parade dinner ware, and the magnificent Ice-Queen candelabra centrepieces.

The plates are adorned with butterflies with a 3d effect. They looked amazing sitting on the clear, black bordered chargers with the black cutlery.

The stunning stationery, by Pink Pom Pom Designs, was classic and elegant, featuring a custom butterfly illustration to tie in with the plates.

Each place setting also had a cute little mini-cake.

The cake area was finished off with a floral bedecked hoop and a black plinth.

Grace adds “this was definitely a setting suited for any adult’s event – wedding, engagement or birthday party. Every component of the style screams luxury”. We agree!
