In a second instalment from Style Vine Events, we hear from Melissa, who tells us about this pretty little fairy garden party she recently styled.

This party was for a 5th birthday and we wanted something girly that would suit the venue, which was Hazlehurst Gardens in Gymea, Sydney. The gardens are a part of the art gallery and are beautifully manicured with with small enchanted looking pathways and a little river, the perfect little adventure for a fairy!

We hired an entertainer, Mel the fairy and she sprinkled fairy dust and took the girls on little adventures around the garden. We decorated with lots of pinks and a fairy garden theme, fairies hiding everywhere, silver foil through the desserts, cute little macaroons, heart shaped sandwiches, watermelon cubes, mini fairy sushi and more.

Whilst the girls played, the parents relaxed under the trees and were treated to simple but delish platters of crackers, cheeses, cured meats and of course pink champagne with fairy floss (of course).

The birthday girl had the best time and still to this day asks where Mel (the real fairy) might be living and if her wish will ever come true!
