One of our favourite things to do is personalising stuff with our Cricut Joy machine! For those who don’t know, this is a compact cutting machine that allows you to cut patterns and designs out of cardstock, vinyl and iron-on vinyl!
There are so many cool things you can do with it, but with Cricut’s heat press EasyPress 2, you can even create cool projects using lots more! Recently we had a little fun having a Mother’s Day baking day and thought we would try Infusible Ink!
Infusible Ink is awesome because unlike iron-ons, where artwork is attached on top of a base material using adhesive, an Infusible Ink transfer becomes one with the material itself. The results are bright, beautiful, seamlessly smooth transfers that never flake, peel, wrinkle, or crack!
Have a look at the video to see what I mean.

Together with the Cricut EasyPress 2 heat press, you can create awesome projects with the Infusible Ink sheets, that can be used to customise anything from fabric to ceramic coasters!
We chose the design ‘Love is Sweet’ from the Cricut Design Space, and together with matching cakesicles from Sydney dessert stylist Cookie Queen Kitsch’n and colourful foils from party store Lovely Occasions, we put together a little surprise for Mother’s Day.
We decided to customise some aprons and tea towels, we also made a special gift bag for Mum featuring Cricut Glitter Smart Iron On Vinyl.
The Cricut EasyPress 2 is available at Spotlight or Harvey Norman.
