Sunny side up first birthday party

We are absolutely in love with this fun and bright look! Our friend from California, Victoria P put this look together for the cutest little kid who was aptly named Sunny. This Sunny side up first birthday party theme featured beautiful splashes of red, yellow and white.

Sunny is the brightest ray of sunshine and could not have been named more accordingly. When we got asked to participate in Sunny’s first birthday we wanted to find a way to embody his fun, carefree, and joyous spirit. Using his name, we came up with a Sunny Side Up theme with the egg as our focal point. And what an adorable little egg that guy is.

I always work with an incredible team of vendors who bring these visions to life. The bold colors shined so bright in the photos shot by Kara Coleen. We found mini vintage sorbet cups and used them for bright colorful florals which popped so nicely. Pavan Floral also used egg cups as floral vessels which was the perfect add on. The adorable signage by Creative Amme added the extra details that made this so special. The egg stir sticks and red placecards over egg plates came together perfectly.

We also customized cookies made by Cookies by Heather with custom sticks to read Sunny Side Up. Malisa from Creative Amme also made a custom tic tac toe that the adults loved playing while enjoying cocktails from the Bubble Tap Trailer.

The dessert table was such a stunner. The egg-shaped balloons as the backdrop created by Sharp Balloons wowed everyone.

We opted out of a big cake and instead just did a small cake and lots of fun mini desserts by Sweet Deetails. All The Crumbles made egg-shaped macaroons that were displayed in mini skillets.

Heirloom LA topped the day off with incredible food and an aesthetically pleasing display. We of course had to have an on-site omelette chef, Danielle Duran-Zecca cooking up eggs for everyone.
