We challenged 23 talented party vendors to design a party inspired by a USA location.

The team from Studio Bonito (a joint venture between Studio T55 and Pretty Bonito Event Styling) were drawn to the city of San Fransisco’s Summer of Love heritage and created a groovy flower-power/60s themed 30th birthday party!

What inspired you to choose San Francisco?

San Francisco is such a unique place. So full of contrasts and stories. I love the story behind the Summer of Love! The era had great music with beautiful messages, amazing colours, patterns and a chilled and natural look.

What influenced the theme and styling?

We decided on a picnic at a park. Enjoying the Brisbane winter sun and having a relaxed vibe.

Which DIYs or party trends did you incorporate into your shoot?

We included several trends, such as boho themes, picnics, gr een walls, grazing tables and a champagne wall.
