The team from Confetti Party Hire recently created a first birthday look that was quite a departure from the norm – not your typical first birthday!

Having styled a 40th birthday party in a similar look, they wanted to demonstrate how switching out the props from the 40th themed party with new props could help create a new look for a 1st birthday party.

Joanne from Confetti Party Hire tells us:

We wanted to create a non-typical 1st birthday party setup using on-trend items such as balloon and streamer installs, neons, light up letters, ghost furniture, a Chanel cart and more. What was created was an edgy and moody yet fun themed 1st birthday party!

The colour scheme, with a range of pinks, gold and a touch of black was also something very different from the standard kids’ party.

Of course, the party featured all of the kids party faves, making sure it would be a real winner with the little ones! Pretty cake, fun partyware, cute favours and lots of confetti!

All the kids dessert faves were there too, beautifully placed on the Chanel cart.
